Dec 26, 2010 I'm considering purchasing a copy of either Fuzz, Acid and Flowers or the Acid Archives book. It's my understanding that both address and catalogue obscure hippy rock and psyche bands. Do any of you have copies of these books (second editions), or have thoughts on. Turns out they were busy opening the doors of perception a little wider, adding three more years to the previous 1964-75- spanning edition, to publish a 1,398-page A4 book heavier than a trip on Woodstock’s brown acid and boasting the subtitle A Comprehensive Guide To American Garage, Psychedelic & Hippie Rock (1965-77).

Help were a 1970s psychedelic, acid, hard rock power trio from California.
The band comprised Jack Merrill (vocals, guitar), Ron Rochan (vocals, bass guitar, percussion), and Chet McCracken (vocals, drums, percussion, formerly of the Evergreen Blueshoes).[1][2]
They released two albums on Decca Records in 1970 and 1971.[3][4]
McCracken went on to drum with The Doobie Brothers.[2]
